MEET OUR FOUNDER
Nina Torres is a seasoned non-profit leader with over a decade of experience in education programs for underserved communities. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights Education from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Communications from California State University, Los Angeles. Her work is rooted in a commitment to education equity, fostering strategic partnerships, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across programs and organizations.
Nina's contributions have been recognized with accolades such as the Distinguished Women's Alumni Award from California State University, Los Angeles, and a nomination for the LA Works Los Angeles Civic Leadership & Impact Rising Star Award. She is actively involved in the community, serving on boards including the California State University, Los Angeles Alumni Association and the Alumni Association Board for the University of San Francisco. Nina's leadership and advocacy have been featured in prominent publications including the LA Times, highlighting her impactful contributions to the nonprofit sector.
